The Bradford Family

I happen to know this family quite well and love them all to pieces.  They are the best kind of people.  Sara is my husband's sister.  She and the rest of the Bradford family are so much fun, crazy active and as you can see they are all super attractive.  Here are just a couple of the photos we took down in Pismo Beach.

I am so behind.

I have a ton of photos I need to upload!  I am really behind.  I always get so excited to check the mail during December and open up all the Christmas cards friends and family have sent.  I can't tell you how much more exciting it is when the pictures families send out are ones you have taken!  I am so very flattered that so many families allowed me to take their pictures and then sent those pictures to their loved ones.

I am going to try and upload a few of the shoots I have done.  I have been honored to take photos of some seriously beautiful families.

Family Pictures

Do you take family pictures and send them with your Christmas cards?  We do!  We love to have a family photo taken for our wall and enjoy sharing it with our family and friends.

There are less than 7 weeks until Christmas.  It will go by in a flash.  I have had several requests for photos this past week and I am getting booked!  I am offering 30 minute - 1 hour long family photo shoots.  I provide you a disk with 10+ photos that are fully edited in both color and black & white.

So I got a little busy there for a while and forgot about my giveaway.

Mommy and Baby

This is my good friend (since childhood) and her sweet little boy.  They are so cute.  She kept singing this dinosaur song to him and he would just light up and laugh at her.  Hilarious.  He is such a smiley little guy and so photogenic.  Anyway, I'll probably post more of them later but these were too cute - I had to post them tonight!

Downieville, population 323

Have you been to Downieville?  Chances are you have not.  We drove through on Labor Day and couldn't help but stop.  It's a teeny tiny town tucked away on a mountainside with the Yuba River rushing alongside.  Such a cute little town.  Kirk and I talked about what it would be like to live in a town that small.  Hours to the next Target?  I wouldn't survive.  :)  6 kids in the graduating class of 2011?  Tht would be hard.

I may not be cut out for a small town but I love how sweet and personal everything feels.

1st Birthday Celebration

How is any 1 year old this handsome?  Those eyes, the skin, his luscious hair!  Oh goodness, he is going to break hearts.

This 1st Birthday party was perfect!  My friend did an amazing job getting everything together: food, balloon animals, face painting, bounce houses, pinata and cake.  The Dr. Suess theme was so cute and the birthday boy - he was sweet and handsome as ever.  I'm calling this party a huge success!

I love the way he grabs his mom's face and pulls her in for a good, kiss.  So sweet.

A little photo shoot giveaway!

While I am working on getting this blog looking less amateur and more awesome I feel like it is a good time for a little giveaway.  I'm sure the 4 people who know about this blog are thrilled and 1 of them lives in Pennsylvania.  ;)

My Work In Progress

Two years ago, I got my first DSLR and I was in love from the get go.  I love taking pictures and can often be found following my 1 year old son around snapping away.  I have had many requests from friends and family to take pictures and have been doing so for 18 months.

I am compiling my shoots onto a blog so they can be seen and shared with loved ones easily.

Father and Son

When I agreed to take photos of these two I knew they would turn out adorable.  When I got to the shoot I was greeted by these two wearing matching baseball tees.  I almost died.  Just look at that baby and his perfect little face.  I think these turned out well.  I'm so glad I was able to work with this family again.

Baby Girl

This sweet, happy baby girl is bringing chubby back!  She is just as squishy and cuddly as a baby should be.  I love this little princess.  Such a beautiful little baby.

Ready for School

This little beauty is my niece.  Sometimes I look at her, think she's the most beautiful 6 year old that ever lived and wonder if I am biased.  Then, I capture this sweet smile that defines who she is and I know I'm not biased.  There are cute kids in this world but most pale in comparison to her.  Not only is she a cutie but she is going into kindergarten this year but she can already read!  Beauty and brains!
